Sculptures

The sculptures in this thematic series move between a purely three-dimensional concept that varies on all sides and a relief-based approach founded on a unilateral light view.

Pyramid series

Developing and deepening the fundamental principles and symbolic aspects of the pyramid. Dynamic rotations, shifts, and reductions of masses lead to the controlled modelling of light, colour intensity, and optical mirroring.

Pyramid series

Kaleidoscope series

Minimalist, expressive geometry, shaped in harmony with form and inner light, built with the precision of cut lines and the balance of two closely-related colours.

Stone series

The simultaneous action of the ascending and descending invisible forces that flow around and through us, is expressed by multicoloured glass shapes. When the light intersects, this creates mutual harmony and an interplay of colour and tone.

Geometry in Movement series

Gradients of individually cut components are assembled into large organic, spatial configurations of either relief or fully three-dimensional form. Movement and tension stem from the contrast of strictly geometric parts of different colours and the freely evolving curves of the overall natural morphology.

Mountain series

The Mountain series is inspired by mountains and their symbolism, the silhouettes of massifs, ridges, peaks, hillsides, slopes, gorges, and ravines. Cut glass pyramids form a relief landscape inspired by mountain ranges, using subtle colour transitions to evoke changing weather, seasons, and natural light.

Cézanne series

Inspired by the work of Paul Cézanne. The composition and palette of colours echo his signature dialogue between blue-green and ochre-orange tones.

Attunement series

Partially-overlapping geometrically-cut coloured blocks form a compact shaped arrangement of new, symbiotic tonal shades.

Red series

Exclusively and unconventionally using of the colour red in cold bonded cut optical glass. The logical arrangement of the geometric constellations enhances the red and preserves its predatory and sensual character.

Rotating Movement series

An interpretation of the cone as a continual development of motion and change, capturing processes of rotation, growth, unwinding, and expansion. The conceptual treatment makes full use of the modelling and light-optical properties of cast glass sculpture.

Direction series

A composition of arranged pyramids pointing upwards to a single notional point as a result of agreement, peace, and inner discipline.

Hover series

By removing mass from the original volume of the main body, light can enter the sculpture, aerate it, brighten its colour scale, and provide the illusion of hovering.

Cone series

Characterized by the embodiment of the etheric symbolism of a descending ray of light. Its transformation into mass, axial deflection and base dynamics, are emphasized by variations in the brightness and saturation of a single colour.
