Spiral Pyramid

This three-arm spiral is composed of seven triangular pyramids, where the axis of rotation is the highest central pyramid. By offsetting the sections of the arms, the pyramid expands symmetrically into three swirling rays with seven peaks of varying heights. Opening out the pieces, allows more light inside, so the colours range from light yellow at the edges and tips, to yellow at the contact bonding surfaces, and a golden honey red in the centre. This changeable colour palette accentuates the dynamics of the asymmetrical whole, which looks different from each angle of view.
