Torso

Inspired by ancient Greek sculpture and its admiration for the perfection of the human body. This limited series of vases draws on the ancient ideal of Kalos Kagathos, which combined physical beauty with inner nobility and moral value. In this abstract treatment of a torso, the body silhouette becomes a pure form, a spatial gesture that is made whole only once a flower is placed within.
