Poussin

This collection of art glasses was born of a personal, close relationship with kindred artists and themes. The limited edition, inspired by the paintings of Nicolas Poussin, brings a new concept to classic stemware. The simple form of the bowl, with its hot-shaped stem recalling a column, nods to Poussin’s passion for antiquity and his sense of order and harmony. The changing opaline shade of the glass evokes its mythological themes and creates a delicate play of light and colour. The glass in turn becomes a combination of classical morphology, material, and the atmosphere of Poussin’s work.
