This series of glass paintings draws on the rich tradition of Slovak folk costumes and their embroidery. Traditional patterns become relaxed, rhythmic compositions of colourful structures. The matte glass creates a subtle veil between the present and the past, distant traces of time, and the stories of our ancestors.
